Small Business Association Paycheck Protection Program
When the Covid-19 pandemic hit and society started locking down to help prevent the spread of the virus, our communities' small businesses experienced a drastic decline in revenue and faced the possibility of having to shut their doors and let their employees go. Thankfully, the government stepped up with the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and First Fidelity Bank answered the call for help.
FFB signed on to be a facilitating bank for PPP loans. To date, we have helped over 1,800 clients keep their doors open and their employees paid by processing over 3,100 loans worth over $272,895,000. These loans helped our communities' small businesses cover payroll expenses as well as other operating costs so they could continue to operate and keep their employees on staff.
